Mission Statement

Welcome to the Julian Assange Archive

The Julian Assange Archive is a unique and historic collection preserving the remarkable story of Julian Assange and the worldwide movement for press freedom, transparency, and justice. This growing archive includes a wide range of materials—from protest memorabilia, artwork, and letters sent by supporters across the globe, to deeply personal belongings that Julian Assange himself has entrusted to us, including items from the Ecuadorian Embassy and Belmarsh Prison.

Among the most powerful parts of the collection are the many letters Julian received from supporters throughout his years of persecution—voices of hope and solidarity that connect people from all over the world in a shared belief in truth and justice.

For years, supporters have stood united, often holding signs declaring, “I am Julian Assange,” symbolizing the collective spirit behind this fight. By entrusting these personal items to the archive, Julian has made himself an enduring part of this community and its shared history.

We invite you to explore the archive—to discover, reflect, and engage with this extraordinary story of courage, resilience, and global solidarity. To learn more about our guiding principles and goals ...
